Jeopardy tryouts

A couple of weeks ago I posted a link to Jeopardy tryouts. One of this sites dedicated readers (ok it was my wife) took the test. The test was 15 minutes (I think). Not multiple choice as you might have imagined, but essay.

Well, apparently she passed with flying colors and received a callback. She is going to an in person tryout on May 4!

It's the commercials!

An article I read by AP, More children and Men are getting fat confirmed my long held suspicion that commercials are why men are getting heavier. Next time you watch a commercial, notice the man, usually overwieght and balding, then look at the wife, fit, young and attractive. Hmmm. What's going on here?

Bauer Kill List

I found a Jack Bauer kill list site on Feld's Thoughts the other day. It has videos, images and method for each kill. It looks like Bauer is the second leading cause of death death in the US.
