Together we didn't elect another Republican

The circle is now complete. We are now a very dejected 0 for 5. Our calculated risk of switching parties to win has failed miserably. The only thing that is going to get me though the night is knowing I can cuddle up to my signed copy of Kerry's Victim and Witness Intimidation classic.

To all those who supported our effort, I thank you. I plan on moving out of Massachusetts to Connecticut, no scratch that, how about Rhode Island, no scratch that, surely New Hampshire, oh come on now this is ridiculous...

DemsForHealey endorses...

We have heard Deval Patrick say on many occasions now that Kerry Healey is better than the campaign she has run. We could not disagree more. Have you even bothered to look at what Kerry has done in this campaign Deval? Seriously.

Let’s talk about what Kerry Healey‘s campaign has done. Do you think her “volunteers” work for free? Do you think those skinheads paid for their own uniforms or their ride to Abington? Do you think doubling up on attack ad buys is cheap? Kerry Healey has poured millions of dollars from her campaign into the local economy. She has been far more effective in stimulating the economy with her campaign than she has been as Lt Governor.

Kerry, you’re campaign has helped the people of Massachusetts to believe in a leader that espouses a positive tone and casts aside the negative rhetoric that divides us. A campaign that has put aside the partisan ways of the past and admits that all the candidates and political parties have good ideas.  Kerry, we all owe your campaign a debt of gratitude.

Deval, I believe you stand corrected.

So it is with great pleasure that DemsForHealey proudly endorses Kerry Healey for governor.

New Healey Rumor - this one has legs.

First it was the vicious Healey for Supreme Court number, but now the Democratic Party has gone and really outdone themselves. I’m ashamed to even talk about it but I want to beat the Inside Track on this one because it might actually be true.

That’s right. The rumor is that Kerry Healey (if she loses) will be replacing Marg Helgenberger and the cast and crew of CSI will be moving to Boston. Eat your heart out Inside Track!

Through the hard work of our crack instigative reporting team we have a quote from an unnamed source on deep background within the Healey campaign.

“As a former State Trooper I think she would make a great cast member. Oh and did I tell you that the negative ads where not my idea!”

We have also secured a quote from one of the producers.

“Given Kerry Healey’s deep experience as a criminologist, the fact that she has written four books on criminology and her obvious talent for creating scary commercials, we believe she is the ideal candidate to replace Marg.”

DemsForHealey has also heard that Marg’s character will be making a dramatic exit from the show. Apparently, after being stalked in a garage she is…well we don’t won’t to spoil the ending for you.

Kerry has finally crossed the line

"You know, education, if you make the most of it, you study hard and you do your homework, and you make an effort to be smart, you can do well.  If you don't, you get stuck in Iraq"

You have got to be kidding me. You have to wonder what goes through peoples minds when they say this sort of thing.

A couple of things I don’t understand. 

• Granted what Kerry said was disgraceful, but why did Republicans like Tony Snow have to distort the statement?

• This is not the kind of press you like to see before a debate.
  
  
• And  what the hell was she doing talking about Iraq? This has not even been a campaign issue. 

Kerry, keep your eye on the prize and focus your negativity on Deval!

"The bait for the debate"

So far we have given you, I have to say, some brilliant advice on how to raise Deval’s negatives and for you to bring up your favorable numbers. With that accomplished it’s time to get Deval to debate you one on one.

Yes, one would have thought saying Deval should be ashamed of himself, bringing his family into the campaign and sending skinheads to his house would have antagonized him enough. But nooooooooooooo. Deval has refused take “the bait for the debate”

Here is our sure-fire bait for the debate. Tell him if he doesn’t debate you one on one, you’ll stop running your negative ads!

You do that and he will come crawling to you begging for a debate (or run the ads himself)

The Healey Master Plan

Kerry you have been taking a lot of heat lately because there have been less police on the streets, less people working and less money spent on education during the Romney/Healey administration.

Fortunately for you, we at DemsForHealey understand your plan. Why should you increase the number of police on the street and spend more money on education when under your administration people have been leaving Massachusetts in droves. We can't even keep the governor in the state more than one out of every three days.

Democrats just don't get it. Less citizens = less need for services = smaller government. It only makes sense. It's called growth through attrition.

The Healey Hail Mary (part deux)

How to improve Healey’s favorable numbers...

Kerry it’s pretty clear that staying away from the Laguer issue during the debate was very effective. So, in my humble opinion you should focus on cleaning up this whole Bechtel mess. Someone needs to be held accountable! Someone needs to be fired! Holding people accountable for their positions shows strong leadership qualities and that is sure to improve your favorability.

So we have a suggestion for the person we think you should fire. Her name is Judith Goldberg. Yes, I know Judith Goldberg is a lawyer working in your administration and has nothing to do with the Big Dig. Why should she be fired? Well she was Ben Laguer’s lawyer!

The Healey Hail Mary (Part 1)

Move over Doug Flutie, Kerry Healey, with the support of DemsForHealey is going to complete the mother of all metaphorical Hail Mary passes. Over the next couple of days we are going to outline a 4 step plan for accomplishing the greatest political comeback of all time.

Step 1 - Lower Deval’s Favorable numbers.

Get some illegal immigrants to cut the lawn at Deval’s house, take a picture of it and send it to the Herald (don’t bother with the Globe, they probably won’t print them).

You say you don’t know where to get any illegal immigrants? No problem we’ve got that figured out for you. Did you know that in Beverly lives one of the biggest proponents of illegal immigration. Who? Don’t be silly, it’s your husband! And for Heaven’s sake, make sure they don’t have shaved heads.

Romney Complemented Who?!

Mitt we are very disappointed in you! No only did you so eloquently say Kerry was going to lose on national television, but now this?

Please say it ain't so. Did Mitt Romney really complement Ben Laguer? Well if you listened to Romney's tete a tete with John Keller, it certainly sounds like it.

"[Ben Laguer] happened to be well spoken." My oh my. Here is the transcript at Keller's site. Imagine the damage this guy could do if he where in the state more than 1 out of every 3 days!

Healey turns negative into positive!

In a move emblematic of her campaign Kerry Healey turned a net loss 200+ police on the street to a 2000+ gain in last weeks debate. Yes, the negative people in the Patrick campaign will and have accused Healey of telling half-truths, but that’s just plain factual.

Healey used the 2000+ number because she is hard on crime. By saying there are 200+ less police officers on the street Deval Patrick is emboldening criminals. How can you be strong on crime if you embolden criminals? If Deval has his way the next thing you know there will be skinheads running wild on the streets of Abington.
